From my observation, it is usually one of two things:<\/p>\n<p>a. They do not have the right information;<\/p>\n<p>b. Even with the right information, they do not take action on what they already know.<\/p>\n<p>The list below consists of 11 classic books on wealth, prosperity and personal growth that have stood the test of time. \u00a0These are books you will want to refer to time and again. They are not listed in any particular order.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1.\u00a0\u00a0 Think And Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This 1937 classic is a manual that explains the famous Andrew Carnegie formula for money-making, based upon the thirteen proven steps to riches.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 As a Man Thinketh by James Allen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Based on Biblical principles, this book shows how our thoughts lead to our actions in various aspects of our lives. It was published in 1902.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Acres of Diamonds by Russel H. Conwell<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Originally delivered as a lecture countless times, this book was first published in 1890. The story illustrates how easy it is to find a fortune if you know where to look. The tragedy is that we keep looking in the wrong places.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Art of Money Getting by P.T. Barnum<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Also known as &#8216;Golden Rules For Making Money&#8217;, this book was originally published 1880. It reveals some very good lessons on money management, and reveals key business principles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Go-Getter by Peter B. Kyne<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Also known as the story of the blue vase, this 1921 classic teaches a very important lesson about persistence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6.\u00a0\u00a0 The Young Man In Business by Edward W. Bok<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Written in 1900, this book gives very useful advice on the discipline required to succeed in a business or profession.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7.\u00a0\u00a0 The Secret of Wealth by Franklyn Hobbs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Also known as &#8216;A Common Sense Guide To Prosperity&#8217;, this 1923 classic explains how wealth is a state of mind, and how you can improve your financial well-being by changing your behavior.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Secret of The Ages by Robert Collier<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Originally published as a set of seven small books in 1926, these books contain priceless yet simple advice on how to use the power of your mind to get what you want out of life.<\/p>\n<p><strong>9.\u00a0 \u00a0The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Published in 1910, this classic book explains how getting rich is an exact science, and reveals how anyone who follows the scientific formula can become wealthy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10. \u00a0 The Law of Success In Sixteen Lessons by Napoleon Hill<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This book was originally a correspondence course and was published in 1928. At the request of Andrew Carnegie, Napoleon Hill spent more than 20 years gathering, classifying, testing and organizing the laws on which the course is based.<\/p>\n<p><strong>11.\u00a0 The Richest Man In Babylon by George S. Clason <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>First published in 1926, the vital lessons to be learnt about wealth in this book are based on a fascinating story set in ancient Babylon.<\/p>\n<p>Most, if not all, of these wealth books remain extremely relevant and can easily be adapted to today&#8217;s circumstances.
